women’s surf & yoga retreats

Cape Town

Welcome to
NOW NOW Surf & Yoga

We create retreats and experiences that blend surf, yoga, movement, rest, and community in beautiful coastal settings. Some are weekend escapes, some are longer immersive retreats, and some are special day events or collaborations — but all are designed to help you reconnect with yourself and others.

Because movement feels better together.
Because solo travel to South Africa shouldn’t feel lonely.
Because we weren’t made to sit still.
Because the ocean doesn’t wait — and neither should you.
Because it doesn’t need to be perfect.
It just needs to be now.

Let’s surf, stretch, move & laugh together.
Let’s find her. NOW NOW.

Why Now Now?

Aerial view of a turquoise ocean with white sandy beach and rocky shoreline, mountains in the background under a clear blue sky.

Why Cape Town?

Because it’s raw and beautiful in equal parts.
Because the waves are clean, the sunsets are gold, and the mountains meet the sea.
Because it’s wild, soulful, and a little unpredictable — just like us.

At our surf retreat, you can hike in the morning, surf at lunch, and dance under the stars by night.

This is Cape Town — a surf and yoga destination unlike anywhere else.

Who’s it for?

Where We Host

We create retreats in beautiful coastal destinations, with Cape Town as our home base.

Depending on the season and retreat format, experiences may take place in locations like Kommetjie, Hout Bay, or other carefully chosen destinations.

Real Stories. Real Sisterhood.

  • " This was by far one of the best weeks I have had in a very long time and I cant stress enough how full my heart was (and still is) "

    — Kirst, Durban

  • “ From the very first moment, Gaby and Cami created a space that felt safe, warm and deeply supportive. It wasn’t just a yoga & surf retreat, it was real sisterhood. ”

    — Lavinia, Austria

  • " I felt so seen and heard that I often fell into solitude on the trip because I needed to remember THAT feeling. I’m at a loss for words, the only way I can show my gratitude is to come back for season 2 of NOW NOW! "

    — Shannon, Umtata

We’ll Be There Too

Best friends for over a decade, Cami & Gaby have surfed, stretched, and explored their way through five countries together. We started NOW NOW Collective to share that feeling — the one you get when you’re moving, laughing, and fully alive.

Our women’s surf retreat in Cape Town is about community, curiosity, and low-pressure good times. We’ll be there for the deep chats, the belly laughs, and the wipeouts.

For Cami, surfing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.

An internationally certified instructor, she has spent the last 5 years teaching and surfing all around the world.

She specialises in empowering women to gain the confidence and skills they need to surf the backline.

  • Movement and ocean addict. Born and raised by the sea, Gaby has spent the last few years traveling the world sharing her love of surf and yoga. She’s been teaching Acro Yoga for 4 years and brings a playful, grounded energy to every session — both in and out of the water.

It is time to book that solo trip !!!

Before You Ask, FAQs

  • Not at all. Most of the women who join us are beginners or just starting out. Everything is optional, and everything is guided. No pressure — just movement, flow, and fun.

  • Yes — and honestly, most of our guests do. We’ve created this retreat with solo travelers in mind. It’s safe, welcoming, and built for instant connection. For all backgrounds, all body types, all stories welcome.

  • We get this question a lot — and it’s valid. Like any big city, Cape Town has areas to be mindful of, but the retreat takes place in small, laid-back coastal towns just outside the city like Kommetjie and Scarborough. These areas are known for their surf communities, slow pace, and friendly locals.

We take care of your airport transfers and all local transport during the week, so you won’t need to navigate anything solo unless you choose to. The group is always together, and there’s a strong sense of community from day one. The house is equipped with an alarm system and will be locked whilst we are in and out of the house.

We’ve lived here, we host here — and we wouldn’t run retreats in places we didn’t feel good in ourselves.

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid by 18 January 2026. We’ll send you a reminder closer to the date to make the final payment.

  • We’ll send a full list before the retreat — but think: swimsuit, activewear, something warm for the evenings, and clothes you feel good moving in. We provide all surf and yoga gear.

  • We keep it small — max 12 women. Enough to make friends, not too many to feel lost.

    • Flights to and from Cape Town

    • Travel insurance (highly recommended)

    • Extra snacks, drinks, or meals outside the retreat program

    • Optional activities not listed on the schedule

    • Personal expenses (souvenirs, taxis, etc.)

    • Equipment damage or loss fees (surfboards & wetsuits)
